We are delighted to inform you that SWY 24th will be coming to India for port of call at Chennai from February 12 to 14, 2012. SWYAA-India will be participating in the on board reception at Chennai organized by the Government of Japan on 13 February 2012. If you want to attend you may send your name with full address, contact details, batch number etc. to us so that we can forward it the Embassy for final selection.

SWY 24th administration has requested SWYAA-India to nominate the names of Ex-PYs who would like to volunteer their time and would be willing to accompany PYs and assist the administrative staff members during the POC activities at Chennai from 12 to 14 February 2012. The selected Ex-PYs will be staying on the ship during the POC activities, if permitted. If you are interested in staying on board you may write about that also to us latest by 26th December 2011, so that we can work for getting the required permission. Kindly circulate this information to all Ex-PYs from your batch.

Please make your own travel and boarding/ lodging arrangements for this programme (only stay on the ship will be taken care, if allowed).
