22nd Ship for World Youth Program

The 22nd Ship for World Youth Program will be held from Jan. 12 - March 5, 2010!!
The itinerary of the 22nd Ship for World Youth program of FY2009 is as follows:
Arrival of the participants from overseas: January 12, 2010
Program for overseas participants in Japan: January 13－22
Departure from Japan (Yokohama): January 22
Refuel, food and water supply in Singapore: January 29 - 30
Port of call activities in United Arab Emirates (Dubai): February 8－11
Port of call activities in India (Chennai): February 17－19
Refuel, food and water supply in Singapore: Feb. 24 - 25
Visit Naha (Japan): March 2
Return back to Japan (Tokyo): March 5

Report on Pre Departure orientation with Indian Delegation SWY 22
 

  • All the participants of the SWY22 assembled in the conference hall of RGNIYD. The National leader of Indian Delegation B. Shekhar Babu welcomed and I explained the importance of the program.

  • Requested the PYs to be punctual, be cooperative the National leader and group leaders.

  • Requested the PYs to participant in all the discussions and activities in the ship without fail.
  
  • Requested the PYs to learn different cultures with the help of the program and informed about the rules to be followed in the ship and during the Port of call Activities. I shared the experience about the cabin change, dinning rules etc.

  • Requested all the PYs to join the SWYAA-India after finishing the program. On 11.11.2010, the session started by 8.00 am and finished 10.00 am. Meeting is helpful to them and on the other day they had a meeting with Mr. Atulya Mishra, Ex-NL SWY 16 also.
